Project Officer - Procurement

SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh is hiring a Project Officer - Procurement in Dhaka for a consortium project running until December 2028.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and run the annual procurement plan
  • Coordinate procurement across consortium partners
  • Prepare bidding documents and RFQs and manage tenders
  • Evaluate bids and keep the approved supplier database
  • Manage contracts and purchase orders
  • Support audits and report procurement status

Requirements

  • Graduation in any discipline, preferably Business, Supply Chain, Finance or Economics
  • Minimum 5 years in procurement, logistics or supply chain, preferably in donor-funded programmes
  • INGO or NGO experience preferred
  • Knowledge of national procurement rules and contract management
  • Good MS Office skills
