Senior Relationship Officer / Relationship Officer, Liability Marketing Unit (LMU)

Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC is hiring Senior Relationship Officers and Relationship Officers for its Liability Marketing Unit in Dhaka to achieve deposit mobilization targets, with a primary focus on CASA, across corporate, institutional, government, SME and high-net-worth segments.

Job Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned CASA and overall deposit targets, prioritizing low-cost CASA
  • Identify, approach and onboard New-to-Bank customers from corporate, multinational, government, institutional, SME and HNI segments
  • Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers and conduct regular client visits
  • Maintain an updated prospect database and sales pipeline and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales plans
  • Promote transactional banking and take proactive steps to retain deposits
  • Ensure compliance with Bank policies, Bangladesh Bank regulations and AML/CFT requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university
  • Experience in Liability Marketing or Deposit Mobilization from a reputed Commercial Bank is an added advantage
  • Strong sales, business development and negotiation skills
  • Sound knowledge of CASA, FDR, deposit pricing and liability products
  • Good understanding of banking operations, KYC and AML/CFT requirements
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MIS tools
  • Age at least 22 years
