Role Overview
Lead production shift operations to ensure safety, quality, cost efficiency, and optimal equipment effectiveness (OEE). Act as first escalation point on shift while driving performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Safety, GMP and quality standards.
- Develop and review monthly in-house production plans based on S&OP forecasts.
- Monitor and rectify machinery breakdowns.
- Manage labor utilization and cost performance.
- Complete accurate shift reports and escalation documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement (RPS), waste reduction and process optimization.
- Perform ERP (JDE Edwards) production postings as per plan.
- Conduct SOP, GMP and process training for team members.
Education & Eligibility
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial & Production Engineering.
- Freshers encouraged; up to 2 years factory experience accepted.
- Knowledge of safety behaviors, GMP and high-speed packaging operations.
- Automation, PLC, Servo Drives knowledge is an advantage.
Skills Required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Entrepreneurial, self-motivated and results-driven.
- Ability to translate strategy into measurable execution.
