Head of Card Business (SVP-EVP)

The Premier Bank PLC is hiring a Head of Card Business (SVP-EVP) to set and execute strategy across all card products, from issuance and product design to merchant acquiring, collections and fraud prevention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute a business strategy to grow market share and profitability across all card products
  • Maximize revenue through card issuance, usage campaigns, portfolio optimization and life-cycle management
  • Design, launch and enhance card products and value propositions
  • Manage sales pipelines, merchant alliances, POS/e-commerce acquiring and collection/recovery operations
  • Establish fraud-prevention frameworks and ensure compliance with central bank regulations
  • Build relationships with payment networks such as Visa and Mastercard, merchants and partners
  • Build a high-performing Card Business team

Requirements

  • Post Graduation from any reputed university with no Third Division/Class
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Card Business with a reputed private commercial bank
  • Deep knowledge of Card Sales, Product Development, Strategic Partnerships, POS/Merchant Acquiring and Collections & Recovery
  • Strong analytical and quantitative capability
  • Age not exceeding 50 years as of 01 October 2026
