Senior Communications Manager

The British Council is hiring a Senior Communications Manager to lead its communications in Bangladesh.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver country communications strategies in line with global priorities
  • Lead media relations, PR, stakeholder communications and reputation management
  • Oversee web and social media and multi-channel campaigns, using analytics
  • Manage communications risks and budgets; line-manage the team

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Marketing, PR or Journalism
  • 10+ years managing communications in a large organisation or agency
  • Editorial experience and a creative campaign record
  • Social media campaign experience
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Bangla
  • Legal right to work in Bangladesh
