Project Engineering Lead (Laldia Container Terminal)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery and coordination of all project design phases from concept development through Issued-for-Construction packages
• Manage consultants, contractors, suppliers and engineering stakeholders for timely and compliant execution
• Ensure designs meet APM Terminals standards, regulatory requirements and international engineering codes
• Support procurement, including tender documentation and technical bid evaluations
• Oversee design interfaces, risk management, quality assurance and design change control
• Coordinate with construction, permitting and operational teams on constructability and execution readiness
• Monitor design progress and report to project leadership and governance forums

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in infrastructure design, ideally container terminals, quay walls, breakwaters or related port infrastructure
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering and consultant teams through complex design phases
• Strong understanding of permitting processes, international design standards and design governance
• Master’s degree in Engineering Management, Construction Management or a related field is an advantage
• Client-side experience and exposure to container terminal construction projects are desirable
