GTS Specialist (IT Support Specialist)

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage and support endpoint devices (laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, thin clients) throughout their lifecycle
• Provide ’smart-hand’ support at the site, including on-call support per the rotation schedule
• Follow ITIL processes such as change, incident and problem management, and execute SOX controls
• Take ownership of reported issues and see tickets through to resolution
• Maintain accurate IT equipment, software and licence inventory in the Asset Management Tool
• Install, upgrade and replace software and hardware according to Avery Dennison standards
• Deliver training on Avery Dennison’s software and computer systems

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Information Technology courses or certification(s) required
• A Bachelor’s degree in a business or technology field is preferred
• 3+ years of related experience, including routine software installation, troubleshooting and problem resolution
• Basic understanding of ICT infrastructure
• Good communication skills in the local language and English
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly valued; ITIL foundation training is an asset
• Ability to travel to support other sites when needed (estimated 20% travel)
