Manager - Import/Export (Logistics & Import/Export Manager)

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate domestic and international shipments across air, ocean and surface freight
  • Resolve delays, damage and customs holds; run contingency plans
  • Keep import / export documentation (invoices, B/L, COO, HS codes) compliant
  • Keep audit-ready records of all shipping activity
  • Negotiate with forwarders, carriers and customs brokers; run SLAs and QBRs
  • Cut transport cost, demurrage and detention

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in SCM, Logistics, International Business or related
  • Certification such as CGBP or CCS
  • 5 to 7 years in import/export, customs brokerage or logistics
  • Customs declaration software, ERP, Incoterms and trade regulations
  • Leadership and clear communication with production, sales and partners
