Store Manager

Bata Shoe Co. (Bangladesh) Ltd. is hiring five Store Managers anywhere in Bangladesh to run daily store operations, drive sales against targets and lead store teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run smooth daily store operations: opening hours, cleanliness, visual merchandising, security and customer service
  • Drive sales against daily and weekly targets, manage stock and promote new and slow-moving merchandise
  • Achieve 100% or more of the seasonal or yearly Pairs/Turnover estimate for the store
  • Keep accurate stock, cash and accounting records, make timely bank deposits and submit reports
  • Lead, train and supervise store staff
  • Safeguard company assets, control inventory age and handle customer claims

Requirements

  • Bachelor/Honors degree
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a retail store as a Store Manager or a similar designation
  • Strong knowledge of retail operations, inventory control, cash handling and audit procedures
  • Proficiency in POS systems, MS Excel, email and reporting tools
  • Willingness to accept transfers as per company requirements
  • Age 22 to 35 years; the circular states male candidates only
