Assistant Manager, Production Maintenance

Berger Paints Bangladesh is hiring an Assistant Manager, Production Maintenance for its powder coating plant in Savar, to run shift operations within defined quality parameters and ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure shift operations are carried out in accordance with daily and weekly production plans
  • Ensure timely production entries in SAP, maintain process log sheets, submit daily operation reports and optimize workforce utilization
  • Plan and schedule preventive maintenance activities in SAP and ensure timely execution
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance Department to minimize equipment downtime and maintenance costs
  • Maintain machine health cards, prepare monthly breakdown reports and conduct RCA for recurring breakdowns
  • Assist the Head of Powder Coating Production in implementing approved Capital Expenditure projects as per schedule
  • Maintain all required ISO-related documents and records
  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues to minimize downtime

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from a reputed university
  • At least 7 to 8 years of experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • Hands-on experience in industrial automation, including PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFD, instrumentation, industrial networking and system commissioning will be an added advantage
  • Understanding of process, machineries, safety norms and planning concepts will be an added advantage
