Intern – Migration Programme (M&E / MIS)

Programme Overview
BRAC’s Migration Programme promotes safe, regular, and responsible migration while addressing human trafficking risks and supporting reintegration of returnee migrants. The Prottasha II Project focuses on strengthening reintegration services, improving migration awareness, and reducing irregular migration vulnerabilities.
Internship Overview
This internship provides hands-on experience in Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), particularly in digital MIS systems within the development sector. Interns will gain exposure to real-world data systems, field monitoring, and analytical processes while contributing to impactful social development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the M&E team in maintaining and troubleshooting digital MIS systems
- Assist in network documentation and system maintenance
- Transcribe and compile qualitative data and perform quantitative data entry
- Support field-level monitoring visits and M&E activities
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a reputed university
- Preferred fields: CSE, Sociology, Development Studies, or related disciplines
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of programming languages (JavaScript, C++, PHP, HTML, Python)
- Familiarity with databases (Excel, SQL, MySQL, MariaDB)
- Basic understanding of M&E frameworks and methodologies
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

- Prior experience is not mandatory but will be an advantage
