Job Overview

DHL Global Forwarding (Bangladesh) Ltd. is a leading freight forwarding company dedicated to providing innovative logistics solutions. As a Specialist, Field Sales, you will engage with clients in the field to understand their shipping needs and deliver tailored solutions that drive their success.

Major Responsibilities

Assist in onboarding new business, manage existing accounts, and build strong relationships with decision-makers.
Generate sales from new and existing customers across export, import, and cross-trade activities, enhance yield business, and achieve sales targets.
Set up customer SOPs in coordination with Operations.
Ensure customer retention across the company’s range of offerings and address complaints as opportunities for improvement.
Generate qualified sales leads for network colleagues and follow up on overseas-controlled opportunities.
Fulfill local-controlled GP and overseas-controlled budgets while ensuring the respective Return on Investment.
Focus on all products and segments, including preferred verticals such as Fashion & Retail, Life Science, and Technology.
Maintain sound knowledge of the garment industry, buying houses, liaison offices, and related sectors.
Focus on imports, including Project, Intra-Asia, FCL, Airfreight, and other global and regional campaigns.
Ensure the onboarding of profitable cargo across all products.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from any reputed university.
Relevant sales experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry or a relevant industry.
Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Empowered and proactive thinker with reliability and strong teamwork.
High integrity and strong work ethics.
