Kappahl is hiring a Production Merchandiser - Jersey in Dhaka to manage Jersey orders from order placement through shipment, with strong production follow-up and the ability to identify and resolve risks to quality and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned orders, ensuring timely sampling, approvals, material readiness, production and shipment
  • Monitor time and action plans, identify potential delays and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers and internal teams
  • Communicate with buyers, product coordinators and suppliers on order progress, sample feedback and delivery commitments
  • Ensure suppliers understand and follow Kappahl Group quality, sustainability and documentation requirements
  • Work closely with quality teams and suppliers to address production issues and support on-time delivery
  • Collect and maintain required sustainability certificates and accurate order records

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing or a related discipline
  • At least three years of relevant production merchandising experience, preferably with exposure to both garment manufacturing and a buying house or liaison office
  • Practical experience in Jersey production, with the ability to independently follow orders through shipment
  • Knowledge of garment costing will be an added advantage
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bangla
  • Strong planning and prioritisation skills to manage multiple orders and deadlines
