Procurement Executive

Role Overview

LafargeHolcim Bangladesh PLC, a member of the global Holcim Group, is seeking a motivated professional for the role of Procurement Executive. The position focuses on managing procurement activities for major projects while ensuring cost efficiency, supplier performance, and compliance with company procurement standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement activities including tendering, negotiation, and contract management
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure quality and timely delivery
• Manage project constraints such as cost, scope, timeline, and quality
• Develop procurement strategies aligned with project requirements
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and finance teams for project execution
• Review project designs, drawings, and technical specifications for procurement compliance
• Prepare project progress reports highlighting risks and mitigation plans
• Manage procurement for plant modifications, equipment installation, and capacity expansion projects
• Maintain strong supplier relationships for reliability and cost-effectiveness
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company standards and safety regulations

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial & Production Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
• Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field will be an advantage
• Master’s degree will be preferred

Experience

• 1–2 years of experience in project procurement
• Experience in industrial, cement, or construction sectors will be preferred

• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools
