Levi Strauss & Co. is hiring a Manager / Assistant Manager, Finishing in Dhaka, to oversee finish developments and bulk production for all accounts of LS&Co. products in close collaboration with vendors and cross-functional teams.

Development Phase

Receive and dissect finish briefs from the design team and transmit them to vendors for seamless execution
Evaluate vendor capabilities against seasonal requirements and communicate potential gaps
Review fabric test reports and identify fabric and finish compatibility issues
Track and meet development timelines with Product Development to adhere to Go-To-Market dates
Initiate internal testing before initial trials to verify RSL and compliance with LS&Co. testing parameters
Increase the development of waterless finishes season to season

Bulk Production Oversight

Educate vendors on LS&Co. requirements for Finish Technical Loom (FTL) submissions and documentation
Monitor timely submission and approval of FTLs according to LS&Co. standards
Collaborate with the Supply Management team on bulk planning and on-time delivery
Develop and implement process controls in laundry operations
Track bulk Goods Production Tests (GPT) clearance well ahead of shipment dates
Review monthly vendor performance on delivery, testing and defect percentages and initiate corrective actions

About You

B.Tech in Textile Engineering or Diploma in Textile Processing/Chemistry
Minimum 8 years of experience in denim and non-denim washing, garment dyeing and special finishes
Strong understanding of denim and non-denim fabrics and finishes
Organized, detail-oriented and accountable for results
Strong communication skills and a thorough understanding of product development
Ability to adopt a digital mindset
