Finance Manager

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations in line with Marriott and local requirements
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing, financial statements and management reports
  • Support preparation of the annual budget, forecasts and business plans, and monitor variances
  • Ensure effective financial controls over revenue, purchasing, inventory, payroll, cash and payments
  • Ensure compliance with Marriott policies, hotel SOPs, Bangladesh tax/VAT regulations and statutory requirements
  • Oversee cash management, bank reconciliation, accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Lead, coach and develop the Finance team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance or a related field
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cost control, taxation, VAT and internal controls
  • Fluency in the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Detail-oriented and analytical
