WPP Production, the global production company of WPP, is hiring a Data Analyst in Dhaka to support client projects through data collection and preparation, model building and the interpretation of results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake data extraction, manipulation and analysis to understand the marketplace and client context of each project
  • Own data collection, including preparing and sending data requests and querying data with clients and agencies
  • Check all tables, charts and outputs for accuracy and format them to organization standards
  • Build base models to the project specification and progress them towards finalisation
  • Calculate sales effects and ROIs, create response curves and run optimisation scenarios
  • Validate models, identify areas of weakness and test improvements
  • Interpret results and explain their implications for the client’s future strategy

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar field, with a focus on data and analytics with econometrics
  • Strong expertise in the Python programming language is necessary
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python and Pandas to process and transform data and build models
  • A degree that demonstrates technical ability, such as Economics, Mathematics or Statistics
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; experience with international clients is an advantage
  • This is an onsite role and candidates should be comfortable working across different shifts as needed
