Technical Writer II

Optimizely is hiring a developer-focused Technical Writer II in Dhaka to write end user, API and SDK documentation for its marketing technology products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create end user and developer documentation, including API and SDK docs and walkthroughs
  • Translate complex technical topics into clear language with visual aids
  • Follow release cycles with Product and Engineering to update documentation
  • Manage documentation tasks across several projects and product launches
  • Use AI-assisted tools for drafting and reviewing, checking all output before publishing

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in English, Information Design, Technical Writing, Technical Communication or equivalent
  • 2 to 4 years of documentation experience in a fast-paced or Agile environment
  • Comfortable with Git-based workflows; proficient in Markdown and HTML
  • Strong writing and editing in Standard American English
  • Portfolio of 3 to 5 technical writing samples
