Business Development Officer

World Vision Bangladesh is hiring a Business Development Officer to lead grant capture and live bids for major donors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage capture plans for opportunities above USD 5 million
  • Lead go / no-go decisions, bid action plans and live bids with support offices and partners
  • Develop bid compliance matrices and run after-action reviews
  • Produce capability statements and keep pipeline data accurate
  • Support humanitarian and emergency response teams when needed

Requirements

  • Master’s in development studies, economics, MBA, rural and urban planning or a relevant field
  • Two years in international development or a related field
  • Two years in business development, bid capture and proposals for USAID, DFID, DFAT, EU or other major donors
  • Experience in health, livelihoods or education programmes
  • Strong MS Office skills
