Chief Risk Officer (CRO)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Risk Management Division and the bank’s risk management framework
• Support the Board Risk Management Committee on risk appetite and limits
• Lead Risk Based Supervision and IFRS 9 ECL implementation
• Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank instructions and Basel III

Requirements

• Graduation or post-graduation in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business or relevant, no third class
• Minimum 15 years in banking, at least 3 years in risk management
• Sound knowledge of Basel, RBS and IFRS 9/ECL
• CFA, FCA, FCMA, ACCA, CIMA or a risk certification is an added advantage
• Age at most 55 years
