MNC Entry Level and Internship Pay in Bangladesh: Only the Published Figures

বাংলাদেশে MNC internship salary খুঁজলে অনেক অঙ্কই পাওয়া যায়। কিন্তু এসব অঙ্কের খুব কমই নিয়োগদাতা প্রতিষ্ঠানের প্রকাশিত তথ্য থেকে আসে। আমরা 14 October 2026 তারিখে বিষয়টি যাচাই করেছি। 4 October 2026 থেকে 13 October 2026 পর্যন্ত বাংলাদেশে আমাদের vacancy desk যে 74টি multinational job posting সংগ্রহ করেছে, তার মধ্যে মাত্র 1টিতে বেতনের অঙ্ক উল্লেখ ছিল। সেটি হলো Singer Bangladesh এর FreshStart Internship Program, যেখানে মাসিক বেতন Tk 15,000। আমরা যেসব 8টি flagship graduate এবং internship programme নিয়ে গাইড লিখেছি, সেগুলোর কোনোটিতেই বেতনের অঙ্ক প্রকাশ করা হয়নি। এই গাইডে শুধু নিয়োগদাতারা প্রকাশিত বেতনের অঙ্কগুলোই তুলে ধরা হয়েছে। প্রতিটি অঙ্কের উৎস উল্লেখ করার পাশাপাশি অনুমান না করে বাকি তথ্য কীভাবে জানা যায়, তাও দেখানো হয়েছে।

What we counted this month

আমাদের vacancy desk প্রতিদিন LinkedIn, bdjobs এবং বিভিন্ন প্রতিষ্ঠানের career site এ বাংলাদেশের multinational প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলোর job posting দেখে। এরপর employer যেভাবে salary line উল্লেখ করেছে, ঠিক সেভাবেই তা নথিভুক্ত করে। 4 October 2026 থেকে 13 October 2026 পর্যন্ত desk মোট 74টি multinational posting নথিভুক্ত করেছে। এর মধ্যে 61টিতে বেতন সম্পর্কে কোনো তথ্য ছিল না। 11টিতে "Negotiable" বা "Competitive" এর মতো শব্দ ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে। 1টিতে নির্দিষ্ট অঙ্ক উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে, আর 1টির ক্ষেত্রে salary line ছাড়াই তথ্য নথিভুক্ত করা হয়েছে। অর্থাৎ 74টি posting এর মধ্যে মাত্র 1টিতে চাকরিটির বেতন কত, তা স্পষ্টভাবে জানানো হয়েছে।

ওই 74টি posting এর বেশিরভাগই অভিজ্ঞ প্রার্থীদের জন্য ছিল। তাই এই হিসাব শুধু entry level চাকরির নয়। তবে entry level posting গুলোতেও একই চিত্র দেখা গেছে। যেসব posting এ fresh graduates দের আবেদন করতে উৎসাহিত করা হয়েছে, সেখানেও salary line এ "Competitive" অথবা "Negotiable" লেখা ছিল। একই 10 দিনে ব্যাংকের posting গুলোতে ভিন্ন চিত্র দেখা গেছে। আমাদের desk 38টি posting নথিভুক্ত করেছে, যার মধ্যে 3টি, সবগুলোই entry level, মাসিক বেতনের অঙ্ক প্রকাশ করেছে।

The flagship programmes: no number anywhere

These are the eight programmes this series has written guides on, with what each one says about pay. Each line comes from the employer's own posting or page, read for that guide.

কিছু programme এ জানানো হয়েছে যে সেগুলো paid অথবা stipend দেওয়া হয়। তবে কোনোটিতেই কত টাকা দেওয়া হবে, তা উল্লেখ নেই। অন্যদিকে Nesternship এবং ASPIRE, এই 2টি programme এ আদৌ paid কি না, তা প্রকাশ্যে জানানো হয়নি। Grameenphone এর 2025 সালের NBL posting এ বলা হয়েছে "Competitive stipend and comprehensive benefits package"। BAT এর Bangladesh circulars এ লেখা আছে "Competitive Salary + excellent benefits + market leading bonus"। Unilever বাংলাদেশে UFLP salary প্রকাশ করেনি। এসব programme এর বেতনের অঙ্ক social media এবং salary website এ পাওয়া যায়। কিন্তু আমরা সেগুলোর কোনোটি নিয়োগদাতা প্রতিষ্ঠানের প্রকাশিত তথ্যের সঙ্গে মিলিয়ে নিশ্চিত করতে পারিনি। তাই অনুমাননির্ভর এসব অঙ্ক এখানে উল্লেখ করা হয়নি।

Singer FreshStart: the one MNC figure

Singer Bangladesh এর bdjobs এ প্রকাশিত posting এ মাসিক salary Tk 15,000 উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে। Posting টি প্রকাশিত হয়েছিল 5 October 2026, আর আবেদনের deadline 2 November 2026। এতে BSS in Economics, BBA অথবা Bachelor in Engineering চাওয়া হয়েছে এবং বয়সসীমা 22 থেকে 26 বছর। Posting অনুযায়ী FreshStart হলো Arcelik Global এর 90 day flagship internship। এখানে corporate office Gulshan 2 এবং factory Araihazar, Narayanganj এ কাজ করতে হবে। আবেদনকারীদের একটি Google Form পূরণ করতে এবং posting এ উল্লেখ করা email ঠিকানায় CV পাঠাতে বলা হয়েছে।

3 বছরেও এই অঙ্কের পরিবর্তন হয়নি। The Daily Star 18 July 2023 তারিখে জানিয়েছিল, Singer এর internship এ 3 মাসের জন্য মাসিক allowance ছিল Tk 15,000 এবং 10 জন intern নেওয়া হবে। 2026 সালের posting এও একই Tk 15,000 উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে। আবেদন করার আগে posting টি নিজে ভালোভাবে পড়ে নিন। 22 থেকে 26 বছরের বয়সসীমার কারণে final year এর কিছু শিক্ষার্থী এবং কিছু graduate আবেদন করতে পারবেন না। পাশাপাশি কাজ করতে হবে Gulshan এবং Araihazar, এই 2টি স্থানে।

Large local employers print the number

বড় স্থানীয় প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলো বেতনের তথ্য তুলনামূলকভাবে স্পষ্টভাবে প্রকাশ করে। BRAC Bank এর নিজস্ব internship page এ 3 মাসের programme এর জন্য মাসিক stipend BDT 15,000 উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে। যোগ্যতার শর্ত হিসেবে বলা হয়েছে, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে internship এর জন্য অনুরোধ থাকতে হবে। BRAC এর internship FAQ এ মাসিক stipend BDT 8,000 এবং staff cafeteria তে ভর্তুকিযুক্ত খাবারের কথা উল্লেখ আছে। এই 2টি প্রতিষ্ঠান multinational নয়। তবে প্রকাশিত বেতনের তথ্য কেমন হওয়া উচিত, তা তাদের তথ্য থেকেই বোঝা যায়: নির্দিষ্ট অঙ্ক, সময়কাল এবং একটি শর্ত।

graduate trainee পদে ব্যাংকগুলো বেতনের অঙ্ক প্রকাশ করে, কিন্তু multinational প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলো সাধারণত তা করে না। Prothom Alo English এর 11টি entry level programme নিয়ে করা roundup, যা 19 April 2026 তারিখে updated হয়েছিল, সেখানে যেসব programme এর সঙ্গে salary figure ছিল, প্রতিটিই ব্যাংক বা financial institution এর। Grameenphone এবং Unilever এর নাম তালিকায় থাকলেও বেতনের অঙ্ক উল্লেখ করা হয়নি। এই মাসে bdjobs এ City Bank এর Trainee Assistant Manager posting এ মাসিক Tk 50,000 উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে। আর Prothom Alo এর প্রতিবেদনে ONE Bank এর Trainee Officer পদে probation চলাকালে মাসিক Tk 30,000 বেতনের কথা বলা হয়েছে।

Internship pay outside the big names, and the law

Paid MNC internship এ stipend বাজারের অনেক পদের তুলনায় বেশি। The Financial Express এ Tanjim Hasan Chowdhury এর 28 December 2025 তারিখের একটি প্রতিবেদনে বলা হয়েছে, মাসিক stipend Tk 3,000 থেকে 10,000 দিয়ে full time role এর বিজ্ঞাপন দেওয়া খুবই সাধারণ। কিছু ক্ষেত্রে কোনো stipend দেওয়া হয় না। একই প্রতিবেদনে বলা হয়েছে, বাংলাদেশে intern দের জন্য নির্দিষ্ট কোনো minimum wage নেই এবং Labour Act of 2006 এ বিষয়টি নিয়ে বিস্তারিত কিছু বলা হয়নি। তাই internship এর stipend নির্ভর করে নিয়োগদাতা কত টাকা দিতে চায় তার ওপর। আইনেও কোনো সর্বনিম্ন অঙ্ক নির্ধারণ করা নেই।

Salary websites: read the units

বেতনের অধিকাংশ অঙ্কের উৎস salary website। তবে এসব তথ্য ব্যবহারের সময় সতর্ক থাকা দরকার। বহুল ব্যবহৃত একটি site এর বাংলাদেশের internship সংক্রান্ত page গুলোতে মাসিক ও বার্ষিক অঙ্ক একসঙ্গে দেখা যায়। ফলে একই অঙ্ক দুই ধরনের label এর নিচে থাকতে পারে। ব্যবহারকারীদের দেওয়া কোনো অঙ্ক অন্য বছরের, অন্য পদের অথবা অন্য শহরের হতে পারে। অঙ্কটি gross নাকি consolidated, সেটিও বোঝা যায় না। এসব site থেকে মোটামুটি ধারণা নেওয়া যেতে পারে। তবে interview তে বেতনের অঙ্ক উল্লেখ করার জন্য এগুলোকে নির্ভরযোগ্য সূত্র হিসেবে ব্যবহার করবেন না।

How to find out what an offer pays

Posting এ বেতনের অঙ্ক উল্লেখ না থাকলে জিজ্ঞেস করা যায়, তবে সঠিক সময়ে। HR যখন offer নিয়ে ফোন করবেন অথবা offer letter পাওয়ার পর বেতন সম্পর্কে জানতে চাওয়াই স্বাভাবিক। উত্তরটি লিখিতভাবে নেওয়া উচিত। Facebook group এ কেউ একটি অঙ্ক পোস্ট করেছেন বলে সেই তথ্যের ভিত্তিতে আবেদন করবেন কি না, তা ঠিক করবেন না।

What to check in writing before you accept:

• The amount and the period. A monthly figure, and for how many months.
• Gross or consolidated. Two offers with the same number can pay differently.
• What is paid besides the stipend. Meals, transport or a mobile allowance, if the employer lists them.
• Where you will work. Singer's posting splits the work between Gulshan and Araihazar; Grameenphone's NBL posting said anywhere in Bangladesh.
• What happens at the end. Whether there is any conversion to a job, and on what terms. Most programmes promise none.
