Centralized Unit for General Banking (Dealing Officer: JO to EO)

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and process branch requests for new, dormant, deceased and closed accounts
• Authenticate NBR and Bangladesh Bank freeze orders
• Check signatures, CIF data, transaction profiles and KYC in the Flora / Ababil CBS
• Post transaction entries for final authorisation
• Track document deferrals and lien marks
• Report on branch account openings and pending accounts

Requirements

• MBA / MBM / Masters / four-year Bachelor’s (preferably Business), no third class
• Minimum 16 years of schooling
• Minimum 2 years in General Banking at a conventional or Islamic bank or FI
• Experience in a centralized GB division is given high preference
