EVP & Head of Compliance

The Premier Bank is hiring an EVP & Head of Compliance in Dhaka to lead the bank’s compliance function as the second line of defence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Compliance Function under Bangladesh Bank’s ICMS guidelines
  • Set and run the bank-wide compliance strategy and compliance risk assessments
  • Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank rules, the Bank Company Act and AML/CFT regulation
  • Develop compliance policies and risk management frameworks
  • Coordinate with Bangladesh Bank, regulators and auditors
  • Report to senior management, the Board Audit Committee and the Board

Requirements

  • Master’s in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Law or related; no third class
  • Minimum 20 years in banking, at least 7 in compliance, internal control, risk, audit or governance
  • Experience with Bangladesh Bank inspections and AML/CFT compliance
  • CAMS, CISA, CIA, FCCA, FCA, FCMA, FRM or CRCM is an advantage
  • Age 43 to 55 years
